Abstract
This study investigated the relationship between office information gadgets on service delivery of insurance companies in South-South region, Nigeria. The study also investigated the moderating effect of organizational support on the relationship between office information gadgets on service delivery of insurance companies in South-South region, Nigeria. Descriptive survey design was adopted in the generation of data. The accessible population of the study consisted 16 registered insurance companies in south-south region in Nigeria. Structured questionnaire was used to obtain primary data after validation and ascertaining the reliability coefficient of 0.85. Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, and percentages) were used as statistical tools for analysing the data, while linear regression was used as statistical tools to test the hypotheses with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). It was found that office information gadgets had significant influence on service delivery of insurance companies. Also, organizational support significantly moderates how office information gadgets enhances service delivery. It concluded that if properly considered office information gadgets will enhance service delivery to be more innovative, adaptable and capable hence, increasing its chances of survival. Based on the findings of this study it was recommended that Insurance companies should make policies that support the use of office information gadgets for effective service delivery.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PRACTICE AND EMPLOYEE COMMITMENT IN OIL AND GAS SERVICING FIRMS IN RIVERS STATE
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The link between employee dedication and human resources management practices in Rivers State's oil and gas service enterprises is examined in this research. While affective commitment, normative commitment, and continuity commitment as measures of employee commitment serve as the criterion variable, the aspects of the predictor variable for human resource management practice include recruiting, training, and remuneration. The cross-sectional survey method was used for this investigation. 2, 866 administrative staff members who work in the Rivers State corporate headquarters of the 54 licensed oil firms in Nigeria made up the study's population. The Taro Yamene Formula was used to establish the sample size for the research, which consisted of 351 individuals. Purposive sampling was used with accessible, easy-to-use random sampling to steer this investigation. The questionnaire will be the tool utilized in this research to gather data. Using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, and percentages) were utilized to analyze the data, and basic linear regression analysis was employed to test the hypotheses (SPSS). The research assessed the connection between organizational commitment and human resource management methods in the Rivers State Civil Services. It especially looked at how organizational commitment measurements related to human resource management methods. It was shown that organizational commitment in oil and gas service companies in Rivers State was significantly influenced by human resource management techniques. It was established that the link between human resource management techniques and an organization's potential to be more inventive, adaptive, and competent would help the latter, boosting its chances of survival. Based on the study's results, it was advised that businesses explore spending money on employee education and training, which would not only help workers preserve their core competencies but also improve their flexibility and innovativeness.

TECHNOLOGICAL SWITCH-OVER AND INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY OF BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMME IN COLLEGES OF EDUCATION, SOUTH-SOUTH, NIGERIA
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The study examined how technological switch-over can enhance instructional delivery of Business Education programme in Colleges of Education in South-South Nigeria. The paper employed the survey of literatures to achieve the objectives. The study is based on three theories, Castells' Theory of Network Society:(1996), Theory of Technological Determinism was propounded by Marshall McLuhan in (1962). Three research questions and three hypotheses were raised in this study. The population for the study was two hundred and fifty-one business educators in colleges of education in South-South, Nigeria. There was no sampling as the entire population was used in the study while 227 were used for data analysis indicating the number of questionnaires that were returned. The research questions were answered using mean and standard deviation. The mean figures were 3.0 and above which showed a high extent response from the respondents to the questions posed. While the hypotheses were tested using t-test statistical tool at 0.05 significant level. It was found out that male and female, experienced and inexperienced business educators WhatsApp Platforms have high extent of influence on content delivery and supervision, skills development as well as educators’ expectations among other findings. It is therefore concluded that technological switch-over highly enhances instructional delivery of Business Education programme in colleges of education in South-South Nigeria. It is therefore recommended that business educators should be trained on the use of these digital technologies for instructional delivery in colleges of education in South-South, Nigeria.
